This panel discussion explores the psychology and physiology of artistic thinking and decision-making. Panelists will consider the questions:
  • How do artists make novel associations?
  • Can we strengthen our creative impulses?

Building upon these ideas, we'll discuss how artistic decisions are made both intuitively and through rational thinking, and will brainstorm how lighting designers can best prepare themselves to make split-second decisions while still being receptive to the spontaneity of collaboration.
