Intermediate grandMA3 Class - Day 1
This course is designed for programmers who already have an understanding of the fundamentals of the grandMA3 software. It goes into a more in-depth understanding of patch, 3D, DMX tools, groups, presets, phases, cue functionality, syntax, timecode, layouts, networking, and more.

This course should not be taken by someone who has not already completed the Conversion or Beginner courses, or who has not already spent several months actively using grandMA3 software.

All attendees are strongly encouraged to complete the free grandMA3 Pro Intermediate Pretest first. If you do not score at least 85% on this test, we strongly recommend you take the grandMA3 Pro Beginner or Conversion course before this intermediate class. This class assumes the presence of an underlying knowledge of the topics covered in the Beginner or Conversion courses and will not have time to go through the basic information.

Note: This class runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30am to 5:30pm.

Setting Up and Monitoring Portable Power Distribution Systems
It's easy enough to run an extension cord to power an audio console, video projector, or lighting instrument, but it is safe and reliable? Given the way we toss around our portable power distribution equipment, the way we throw it into a road case, run it along the ground and step on it, run over it with forklifts and golf carts, and leave it outside to bake in the sun, there are usually weaknesses waiting to become major problems.

But we can get ahead of potential problems by learning to spot those weaknesses using the right tools for the job and by monitoring the system during operation. This one-day class is designed to walk through best practices for setting up and monitoring portable power distribution systems so they are safe and reliable.
