Las Vegas native, Abril Gamez, has long been drawn to the technical side of live production. She began her production career through certification training, the UNLV Entertainment Engineering program, and was mentored by some of the industry’s best. Abril added media servers to her video engineering specialization skill set after becoming interested in the duality of the technical and creative possibilities media servers have to offer. Abril’s professional experiences range broadly from televised political events, Fortune 500 conferences to Coachella Music Festival. Recently, she served as the Video Director, Crew Chief and Disguise Operator during Aerosmith’s Las Vegas residency. Her company, Allure Productions and partner, Digital Entertainment Productions, specialize in supporting high end equipment and skilled labor through partnerships with boutique producers to world known production companies. While thriving off of the adrenaline of live shows, her other
passion in life is her love for animals. Always up for a challenge, Abril recently picked up the equestrian competitive sport. She enjoys caring for her horses and her many dogs.
